For Christmas, which was yesterday, our relatives visited from faraway places! I played the piano at their bed and breakfast a lot. And we went to a fun Christmas eve service with candles and carols. When Christmas came, I got a recorder, new boots, slippers, some candy canes, a gingerbread hot chocolate mix, a drawing pad and markers, a recorder book, a piano book, a comic book... and lots of other things!!! Then we settled down to Christmas dinner. After that, we opened a few more presents, and then we watched treasures of the snow. After that we read and talked for a while, and then it was time for the kids to go to bed.

I go to a homeschooling Coop. At the end of each semester, there is a talent show. This year, I was in lots of the acts. I was in 4 acts.
Dance Tumbling Spanish and Drama My favorite was tumbling. Do you do any classes? Recently, I had a sleepover at my friends'. First, we went to this thing called a waffleman. We ate waffles with piles of chocolate chips, cherries, and sprinkles. Kids got prizes like sleds and stuff cause they sold the most tickets to something. Then it was time to go to her house. We messed around for a while, putting on scented hand sanitizer, writing in our pass-back-and-forth notebook, and we also turned out the lights and told a scary story. Heres how it goes (it's a great story to tell at sleepovers, and it has a great effect if you hold a flashlight under your chin but not touching it so that your face has an eerie glow. To make it creepier color a piece of plastic wrap green or red (or both) with a permaneant marker and tie it over the flashlight with a rubber band.) : Once there was a girl (pause here if you do its kinda funny!) and her dad was a frankenstien. (pause again) Her friends were all going to a party on halloween night, she was invited, but she had to ask her dad. She crept down the stairs which had cobwebs stretched all over them. (say the next part slowly) And there were BIG, black spiders everywhere. (stop saying it slowly) The girl shivered. She finally reached her dad's office which was three flights below. There was a vampire bat in a cage near the girl's dad's desk. The girl gasped. Then she recovered and said, "Dad?" "WHAT?" He shouted. "Can I go to this party, i've been invited to..." (Pause) And her dad said, "Nah hahgahNahhafhananhaadaahaahaa..." (Go on and on saying this until you run out of breath. Your friends will either scream or roll over laughing (that's what I did)) (above, we didn't have a flashlight so we used a glow stick) Then, we went to a play that her brother was in. It was the tempest. We sat and arm knitted during the play. My friend made a scarf and I made a shawl. Then we went back to her house and played animal jam for a while. She's a member. I'm not. We discovered a diamond code: twelve After that we played pretend guitars and then there was a lion... But it was only her dog! We messed aroound more and then we watched a movie it was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 My friend fell asleep halfway through and I watched the rest. And that was my fantastic sleepover!
We didn't go to any relitives for Thanksgiving. (Rare.) We stayed home!
Mom made greenbean cassorole and a potato thingie with cheese, it was... YUMMY! We also helped my mom make a Paleo Pecan Pie. What a Thanksgiving! The day after Thanksgiving my family wanted to go camping, until they remembered I had rehersal the next day. So, we decided to hike a bit and find a spot to make a campfire, and roast marshmallows and hotdogs, then go home. (above) Me on top of a very large log. (below) My brother on a very large log. (below) A lake. (below) Some sort of animal track. (a deer, I think) (below) Ahh! The beautiful sunset. This is when we decided to get out the marshmallows. (below) I lost my marshmallow. (below) And at last, the flickering flames!
