Hello blog readers! It's November, cold and bleak. Cold weather also makes your lips get chapped and peeling, so I thought I'd share with you a lip balm recipe! This recipe is for cocoa butter and beeswax lip balm. I usually add an essential oil to my lip balm. Peppermint goes really well with the cocoa butter and makes a delicious cocoa peppermint aroma and flavor when it goes on your lips. I cannot get enough of this lip balm! It is so soothing and yummy! This recipe makes a soft glossy balm. If you don't like the consistency of your balm, roll the stick of balm all the way out, pull it out and melt it down again, this time adding more beeswax. However, do not add as much beeswax as you have added cocoa butter. I learned that the hard way!

Mix both ingredients together, and lightly stir with a fork. Add 10-15 drops of peppermint essential oil depending on the thrilling tingle effect you want. Pour into the lip balm containers. Let your lip balm sit for 45 minutes before trying it on. Because I know you'll be diying to! Homemade lip balm makes a great gift or stocking stuffer! Have fun and share this recipe with your friends! Goodbye for now! 💟
